# Can my book include famous characters or brands?

We cannot reproduce copyrighted characters, brand names, logos, or protected fictional worlds without permission from their owners.

This includes well-known characters from movies, television, books, comics, and video games, as well as branded costumes or logos.

### What we can create instead

We can help you create an original idea with a similar broad theme, such as:

* An original masked hero
* A magical ice kingdom
* A school for young wizards
* A space rescue adventure
* A friendly team of original animals

The characters, names, clothing, logos, and story must remain original and must not copy a protected property.
