# How can I change the story or text?

You can request changes to your story at no extra cost.

Common requests include:

* Correcting a name or spelling
* Replacing “Mom” with “Grandma,” “Dad” with “Grandpa,” or another family role
* Rewriting a sentence or page
* Changing a relationship, activity, wish, or story detail
* Removing a character or detail that does not fit the child
* Requesting a different theme or story direction

### Send a clear change request

Contact us through the chat and include:

1. Your story title or preview link
2. The exact page or sentence to change
3. The current wording
4. The replacement wording or desired meaning

Edits are usually ready within about 24 hours, often sooner. Please allow around 48 hours over the weekend. These are estimates; complex changes may take longer. We will send you an updated preview when it is ready.
