# What if the illustrations do not look enough like my child?

storytellrs creates an illustrated interpretation of your child rather than a photographic copy. Even so, we want the character to feel familiar and recognizable.

If the likeness is not close enough, contact us through the chat. Tell us exactly what feels incorrect, such as the hair color, eye color, skin tone, face shape, or another visible detail.

### Send a strong replacement photo

For the best result, choose a photo where:

* The child is facing the camera
* The full face is visible and well lit
* The child is the only person in the image
* The photo is sharp and not heavily filtered
* Hats, sunglasses, pacifiers, hands, and shadows do not cover the face

You may send more than one photo, and our team can choose the clearest reference.

These adjustments are free. Because the result remains an illustration, an exact photographic match cannot be guaranteed.
